The 6th Annual International Congress on Oncology & Pathology™: Towards Harmonization of Pathology and Oncology Standards will provide the latest information on important topics in malignancy assessment that can guide therapeutic approaches for people diagnosed with cancer. From academic centers and community practices alike, pathologists and oncologists will come together to discuss recent advancements in diagnostic approaches and the impact of these advancements on treatment selection that ultimately affect patient outcomes.

Our expert faculty will appraise clinical guidelines, explore new concepts and the latest research, and discuss ways for you to optimize molecular pathology techniques and apply them to your practice. This dynamic experience will provide you with the opportunity to engage with faculty as they share their perspectives and personal experiences with clinical challenges in the field of pathology. A variety of formats will be used, including cutting-edge lectures, panel discussions, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and interactive question-and-answer sessions.

The learning objectives of this program are:

• Evaluate testing strategies for precision diagnosis and risk stratification in patients with cancer
• Discuss the use of molecular markers for staging and monitoring the progression of cancer
• Apply data from clinical trials incorporating tumor biomarkers to personalize treatment decisions in specific populations
• Summarize best practices and strategies for use of prognostic and predictive biomarkers in a multidisciplinary care setting within oncology and pathology specialties
• Identify patients with cancer who may be good candidates for specific clinical trials based on biomarker data

This educational activity is directed toward pathologists and oncologists, as well as nurses and fellows involved in the treatment and management of patients with cancers. Physician assistants (PAs), pharmacists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals may also participate.
