Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the anatomy and physiology of the glymphatic system known to date
  • List a range of imaging techniques presently being used to investigate the glymphatic system function in states of health and disease
  • Discuss the role of glymphatic dysfunction in the pathophysiology of proteinopathies, acute stroke, and chronic hydrocephalus
